Summer /Autumn September 26, 2015 15:31
During the summer we were lucky to visit the Malaga area of Spain staying with friends in Calahonda we hired a car and explored many of the inland towns and villages. Of course this year was one of the hottest on record in Spain reaching 44deg one day in Antequera ! Antequera is a city and municipality in the province of Málaga, part of the Spanish autonomous community of Andalusia. It is known as "the heart of Andalusia" because of its central location among Málaga, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville If you are visiting Malaga be sure to visit this historic city.
The English summer was once again very disappointing more like autumn than summer many days were very wet and windy, not good for tourism especially the seaside towns who depend on the influx of tourist to survive the long winter months!
So for small businesses we have to look towards the internet and online sales that is why this year we introduced our new website Louie's Gifts www.louies-gifts.co.uk
We have introduced over the past year many Catholic devotional items statues, rosaries, relic cards, christening gifts , pyx for the eucharistic minister and lots more. We were very pleased to be able to stock religious figurines by Roman Inc. which have figurines by Joseph's Studio the Renaissance Collection is one of Louie's Gifts best sellers.
Virgin Of San Juan De Lagos
Caridad Del Cobre or Our Lady of Charity
We are now well into September and well into Autumn the nights are drawing in but we have been busy choosing new stock for Christmas .One of which is the Madonna and Child Decorative Panel.
